From a South Carolina interstate nine years ago, J. Guy, president of Carolina Nurseries, called his business partner David Johnson. “I told David we were going to start a new plant development company and we needed a name. I gave him ten minutes to call me back.” After a Google word search and nine minutes later, Novalis® was born.

Guy had been researching and developing the components for a grower network for a number of years.
